LAW ON DOING BUSINESS IN SINGAPORE - Company vs Sole Proprietorship

I am thinking of registering a business in Singapore but I can't decide on whether to choose a company or a sole proprietorship as a business structure.  Which business structure is better, a company or a sole proprietorship?
