The internet is a vast decentralized global network of computers containing millions of pages of information.  The World Wide Web (WWW) is the medium for electronically publishing information on the internet in the form of pages called websites or homepages.  Each of these websites has a unique address called Uniform Resources Locators (URL), which enable each website to be accessed any where in the World.  With so many active social media platforms in Singapore such as WhatApp, Youtube, Facebook, Instagram, Fb Messenger, Google+, Skype, Twitter, Linkedln and WeChat, social media platform users have to be careful what they post on the platform (i.e. the internet). Singapore do have laws to regulate hate speech posting on the internet.  Making defamatory statements, seditious statements, intimidating statements, threatening statements, abusive statements and insulting statements on the internet will land you in court if the victim takes legal action.  Therefore internet users must be responsible to speak up with basic human courtesy. Voice concern and not show anger.
